How does individual therapy work?

  • In individual therapy, you and the therapist work together to find words for your issues, understand the roots of your emotions, and learn how to manage them.
  • In some cases, a specific intervention is required, such as EMDR for trauma.
  • You will learn to recognise your own patterns and dynamics, and actively work on them in your daily life.
  • Depending on your needs, you will meet at varying intervals to discuss what you encounter in your day-to-day life and jointly explore where the difficulties lie.
